It has once been said that Hong Kong, with a population of over 7 million people, has the highest number of Ferrari’s per capita. In some parts of the world, seeing a single Ferrari over the course of a year would be an amazing feat.

In Hong Kong, the famed prancing horse is seen everywhere. The 458 Italia was a special car in its own right. When Ferrari came out with its lightweight, race ready version, the “Speciale”, people flocked to the Auto Italia showroom to place their orders.

When our customer received his brand new 458 Speciale in Rosso Scuderia Red with a Blue Nart Livery, he came to us asking for help in making his car stand out amongst the rest.

We knew the Speciale was already an amazing car from the factory so we didn’t want to tinker too much with its proven setup.

Instead, we chose to focus on improving the aesthetics of the car. For this task, we went to PUR Wheels to come up with the most bad ass wheel design for this car that would be different and special, yet retain the general Ferrari essence.

PUR came up with their LX22.V3 wheel which is essentially their LX22 5 Split Spoke wheel with a directional twist.

To tie in the look of the wheels better with the car, the original ride height was lowered by 20mm using the factory suspension. Check out the rest of the pictures below.
